Resolution to Invest is required to ensure all directors agree with the investment. Please be aware that for each investment, an Authorization for Investment Verification is required to ensure all shareholders agree with the investment. To ensure a smooth and secure process, we kindly ask you to complete the verification within 14  days and before campaign closed. Failure to do so will result in the refund of your payment.

 

Step 1: Complete your Corporate Investor Profile

Log in to your MyStartr account and navigate to the Account Settings section. Within the Account Settings, you'll find an Investor Details tab where you're required to furnish the following information as mandated by the Securities Commission Malaysia for biographical data purposes. Rest assured, this information will be securely stored and not disclosed without your consent, except as mandated by law. 

 

Step 2: Make your Investment

After complteting your Investor Profile, you can now make your investment and finish the payment process. Before proceeding with your investment, please review your investor details to ensure that all information is accurate and corresponds to your identity. 

 

Step 3: Submit Documents - Authorization for Investment Verification

After your investment, Please navigate to the Portfolio section of your MyStartr account. From there, locate your Investment Deals and find the upload section designated for Resolution to Invest. This is where you can submit the necessary documents to authorize the investment and ensure that all directors agree with the decision.

Upload your Company Resolution for Authorisation of Investment and Certificate of Incorporation / Company Registration Document for verification process purpose. Please be aware that for each investment, an Authorization for Investment Verification is required to ensure all shareholders agree with the investment.

Step 4: Submit Documents - Beneficial Owner eKYC Verification

After Step 3, please also upload your Company Beneficial Owner Details, IC/Passport proof, and Selfie proof for eKYC verification. A beneficial owner is an individual or entity that has significant ownership or control over a company, collectively holding more than 25% of the shares, including either direct or indirect ownership. In cases where no single shareholder holds more than 25% of the shares, the beneficial owner may be identified as senior management with control over strategic decisions and operations. Please note that, Investments cannot be completed until identity is confirmed. Your investment will be reject if you did not complete the eKYC.

 

Step 5: Verify Identity and Investment Authorization 

MyStartr will proceed to verify your identity using the submitted documents and information. Once you've submitted the required documents, our team will initiate the identity verification process. This typically takes 3-5 working days. You'll receive an email notification once your identity has been successfully verified, and your investment will proceed accordingly.
